title tittle

Well, I found my goggles the day after I thought that I’d lost them, what a surprise! They happened to be in my room, virtually under my nose. But just yesterday the bridge between the two eye pieces broke, which sucked! But I got a spare from a pair of goggles a mate had. In fact it came off the eye piece bit that I gave him a replacement for. Its been nice to have a friend so close during this pretty bad time for me. But I don’t want to be someone to hang onto anyone else. I don’t think I am hanging on to him. He’s got a girlfriend and is often away, but I just don’t like the thought that I might be a fly in the soup of someone’s business. Well I will soon be gone. I am going to flee the country! Looks more and more as if my prospects lie elsewhere, teaching English to enthusiastic foreigners. Hopefully it will be fun kids in Korea, as soon as I have got my documents together, there are just a few things that I have to get together… that reminds me write a list of all the shit I have to do tomorrow. My post-its have disappeared!

I’ve often thought this: wouldn’t it be nice to know where things are when you want to have them, which would defeat the evil stage of looking for stuff when you can’t find it, cos you’d know where it is.

I will revert to my non-sticky very small pad of paper

  • Call uni

  • Call Korean Embassy

  • Swim (?)

  • Dust room!!!

  • Go into the loft and find a box of shit to throw away.

Where I don’t move stuff in my room I have a lot of dust, I don’t exactly know where it comes from, perhaps the over sized road near by, but most probably the main source is me. Wherever I have lived, well both of the places I have lived, have had dust problems, and I con only see two things that link them; me, and the oversized road which provided the sound track to my childhood. I remember once when I went to a campsite with a couple of my friends as a 16 year old. It was by the sea, literally it was over the road from the beach, it was superb! But in the morning before I had realised where I was and got excited, I’d think I was at home because the sea rustling over the stones on the beach sounded just like the 8-laner near my home.

The mornings were really nice during that holiday. I was a light sleeper and sleeping with a snorer and a guy that moved a lot wasn’t the best place for me. So I’d get up at sunrise and go sit on the beach, have a nap, or maybe draw a crap picture to pass the time. I was blissfully happy that week, I was away from home on holiday with my friends without any responsible adults, I had just started to go out with my ex-girlfriend at that point as well. So I had a lot to smile about. That week was great, all we did was chill, drink and eat. I have the best set of pictures from that holiday! ‘The Holiday Snaps’ as we refer to them as will go down in my pages of history. Just the thought of them makes me laugh! We went around on a couple of occasions just taking pictures of us with random people. The first we got was quite funny, don’t know what came over us, but was jumped on this girl and said BE IN OUR PHOTO! When this other lady came over and asked if we wanted her to take a picture, cos there was me with outstretched arm taking a picture of four people. So we said, no no no! Be in a picture instead! Of course she agreed.

The best thing about it was; we got a picture of a doorman when we asked for directions to the station, just before we got lost, and when I went to uni I went to the same place and saw that same guy strolling about town! Aahhhhh the memories.

Where was I… oh yeah I was thinking that I don’t think I have anything to write about today, I am just bored and thought that I’d be able to chill and pass some time by sticking more boring blog up for all you no-one to read! I was telling y’all about my foreign prospects, maybe if I don’t go off at a tangent I will let you know another time.
